I am currently in the process of learning how to crochet and sew! So I have two projects going at once. I crochet when I am somewhere and bored and I sew when I am at home so I have time for both.
My first crochet project is a red and gray striped scarf. It’s very basic since I am only using single stitches. (I don’t like a lot of large holes in my clothing.)
I got this shirt for Christmas from my mom. It was an XS in kids… So I am making a pink skirt to attach to it and give it to a young girl I know it will fit.
First completed sewing project
The next sewing project I am working on is a reusable grocery bag. It’s really nice and has places for wine bottles and might even fit a two-liter. (I don’t drink soda anymore so it’s not a big issue if it doesn’t hold a two-liter.) I picked out this awesome, extremely strong, green leaf fabric. Unfortunately, I didn’t buy webbing because the lady at Jo-Ann Fabrics didn’t know what it was. So, after I get my webbing on Wednesday I should be done by the end of the week.
